NWA - Your Weather Authority Examine App

Current radar

The current radar is not accurate compared to other weather apps or even the radar shown on the local TV channel. It’s like it’s off by a few hours or so. It could be pouring outside but the radar on this apps shows the rain or storms is miles/hours away.

So. Slow.

When it actually matters and there is weather, the past and future cast stalls. I get it if it’s cellular but in WiFi? No excuse. Tired of all the good weather apps getting bought and nerfed and we are stuck with these lackluster ones.

Latest version April 26

Logo NWA Weather Authority acts as an overlapping image that covers up data on screen in parts of this app. THE fix worked to remove overlapping image!!!

entirely too video heavy

this is a mobile app. having graphics and charts would suffice. not a fan of constantly having to load a video - wait for an add just to see a forecast

Ads Ads Ads

The app is good and the info is good but the ads that pop up and obscure everything make it a non-stater for me. I would almost be willing to pay to avoid... but then again, maybe not.

HORRIBLE - FLOODED WITH ADS REDIRECTS

HAD TO DELETE IT. Obnoxious ads, multiple redirects, trying to make money on ad clicks and in no way trying to provide a service to local viewers. The WORST weather app EVER!!!!!

Video ads are a deal breaker

This has been the most accurate forecast app I’ve used. The pop up ads were annoying but a quick swipe and they were gone. The new mandatory video ads however are a step too far. If I need forecast data RIGHT NOW I can’t, I have to sit through video ads. What If it were an emergency? I get the bill need to be paid, and showing still ads would be a fine compromise. But this... Sorry, Dan. I’m out. I’ll get my weather data elsewhere.

This app used to be good

This app used to be good. The last tornado warning we were under, they didn’t even provide the local weather... basically makes the app worthless..

Clickbait and Bugs

Crashes and way too many notifications that don’t matter. Example - Gives notifications for counties in Oklahoma when they have a tornado warning. I don’t mind seeing that in the app because it’s our region, but don’t send notifications. Also get meaningless notifications like, “Will the storms stay in the forecast? Click to see!” Uninstalling.

Annoying ”teaser” notifications

Find another option!! Frequent notifications all of which are just unimportant teaser questions from Melissa and Dan. Ex: “Will this heat continue or does the weekend bring us a cool down? Click here to find out -Dan”. These pointless and very annoying notifications are always signed from either Melissa or Dan...they spam you several times a day! It’s unnecessary and rude. It’s literally made me not like them anymore. Weather related notifications should only be used for communicating important ACTUAL weather related news.

Love this app

I absolutely love your app, when I was in Missouri over the summer it still gave me the weather alerts in my exact locations excellent app

Crash crash crash

Newest update won't open without crashing.

Update keeps crashing

Most recent update keeps crashing.

Unreliable!!

First, you have to watch a commercial THEN the live stream doesn't work. Real classy when a tornado warning is ongoing.

Animated radar crashes constantly

Anytime you attempt to add storm tracks the radar crashes. Won't even stay up long enough to use. Been this way for over a month. Works on iPad but not iPhones Stick with Weatherbug.

Get it

Love this app very good with weather.

Awesome

This tells me all the weather status and what's coming!!! I love this app!!!

Good weather app!

Comparable to Weather Bug, which is a great app.

Good, but can be improved (especially for ipad)

The app says it is for ipad, but most sections are optimized for iphone. Maps and forecast screens cover just a third of the screen. The content is rich though. Has everything that you will expect from a weather app, including a live stream (during severe weather only). There is also a possibility to chat with weathermen.
